- Timing Precision: Less than 15 ps RMS jitter to local delay generators

- Reference Clock: Internal 160 MHz timebase or 10 MHz external input (10 to 100 MHz option)

The GFT3022 acts as a powerful master timing controller, generating a high-speed optical serial data stream to synchronize large-scale networks of local delay generators. Engineered for high-energy physics and massive laser facilities, it provides the backbone necessary to distribute precise timing signals over distances exceeding 1 km without performance degradation.

With the ability to synchronize up to 4,000 delay generators and a 160 MHz internal time base, this master controller ensures absolute coordination across expansive setups. It maintains exceptional signal integrity with less than 15 ps RMS jitter to local units, making it ideal for experiments where sub-nanosecond precision is non-negotiable.

The system is designed for both versatility and security; it can respond to external hardware triggers or generate internal single-shots, with a built-in safety mode that reverts to a preset frequency if the external clock is lost. For seamless operation, the GFT3022 offers complete local control via the front panel or remote management through an integrated web server and Ethernet interface.
