Description:

The GFT4016 is a passive Optical Splitter engineered for seamless distribution in advanced optical networks and timing systems. By allowing a single optical channel to be split into up to 16 independent channels, it ensures that your precision timing signals remain stable and synchronized across expansive setups.

Designed for scalability, multiple GFT4016 units can be daisy-chained to provide up to 256 channels, making it an ideal choice for large-scale Picosecond Timing Systems. The device operates across a broad wavelength range of 1300 to 1550 nm and features shuttered SC connectors on the front panel to ensure both safety and signal integrity.

With its compact 19-inch 1U rack-mountable enclosure, the GFT4016 integrates easily into standard laboratory or industrial racks. The passive design requires no external power, offering a reliable, low-maintenance solution with an insertion loss of less than 14 dB and excellent channel-to-channel uniformity.

Engineers can further tailor the device to their specific needs with options for 4, 8, or 12 output channels, as well as alternative connector types like PC or APC to match existing fiber infrastructures.
