Description:

The GFT7513 provides high-performance microwave signal generation in a compact, fast-switching package designed for demanding RF environments. Covering a broad 100 kHz to 13 GHz range with ultra-fine 0.1 mHz resolution, it is an ideal solution for Local Oscillator applications where spectral purity and frequency agility are critical.

Engineered to minimize interference, the synthesizer features an electronic design that delivers exceptionally low phase noise—reaching -140 dBc/Hz at 1 GHz center—and ensures no subharmonics are present. Its fast-switching capabilities, including a 3.5 μs VCO step time, allow for rapid frequency hopping and efficient testing cycles without sacrificing stability.

The unit is built for versatility, featuring a high-stability internal reference that can also phase-lock to any external reference up to 250 MHz. With an accurately leveled output power range up to +15 dBm and 0.5 dBm step adjustments, it provides the precise signal control needed for sensitive receiver testing and system integration.

Housed in a streamlined enclosure weighing only 1.8 kg and standing 27 mm tall, the GFT7513 integrates easily into space-constrained racks or portable setups. Remote operation is simple via USB or RS-232 interfaces, supported by a dedicated Windows graphical interface for immediate, out-of-the-box control.
